Team competitions will also take place at each  regional conference including the annual Baron H. Galand Culinary  Knowledge Bowl.

Many people are not aware that April is National Grilled Cheese Month. To celebrate, Wisconsin will be holding its first annual Grilled Cheese Championship in Mineral Point, Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) has agreed to be the event’s Premier Sponsor. Event highlights include:

• Four Sandwich Categories: Classic, Classic Plus One, Classic Plus Extras and Classic Dessert
• "Heats" for both Professionals and Amateurs
• Sample Great Food and Beverages
• Grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, beer and wine available for purchase all day long
• Live country music by Ben Biser and Whiskey River
• Win Fabulous Prizes!

There is FREE admission to general public (pre-registration strongly encouraged). Competitors must pre-register in advance of the competition to ensure eligibility.

• 9:30am: Doors Open to General Public
• 10:00am - 1:55pm: Competition
• 1:55pm: Presentation of Best of Show Winners
